Selling / trading in some older photo gear

I’ve been loving my D7000 and I love it even more now that I had to do without it for over a month while it was in the shop. This weekend, I’m planning on taking my old camera, the Nikon D80 and its kit lens in to a camera store and try to sell it / trade it in towards a new better lens for the D7000. I’m amazed it’s still going for this much on Amazon: Nikon D80 10.2MP Digital SLR Camera Kit with 18-135mm AF-S DX Zoom-Nikkor Lens On eBay, it’s going for about half that. I originally received the D80 for free from Nikon, but they never asked for it back, so whatever I get will be a net gain. I also have a very nice Nikon Macro lens, the Nikon 60mm f/2.8D AF Micro-Nikkor Lens for Nikon Digital SLR Cameras, which takes great shots, but which I never ever use anymore. I also have a Sigma telephoto that I don’t use much. I’m going to trade these suckers in along with the kit lens that came with my Nikon D7000 and see what the total trade in value of that will be. I’m hoping it’s at least enough to get the Nikon 18-200mm f/3.5-5.6G AF-S ED VR II Nikkor Telephoto Zoom Lens for Nikon DX-Format Digital SLR Cameras. I will let you know how it goes. If anyone wants to stop me and get this gear, give me a holler on Twitter.
