First, there was this wonderful set of Tiger Woods advertisements in LAX on Thursday, including this unintentionally ironic gem:
The best part is the bottom line: “We know what it takes to be Tiger. Talk to us to see how we can help.” Evidently, accenture specializes in juggling multiple mistresses, eh?
The second funny failure of the week was yesterday at the Barnes & Noble on Central Avenue in Yonkers, where there was a Nook on display:
The error message reads: “The application Library (process.com.bravo.library) has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again.” I clicked around a few times with no response from the device or the non-functional color screen below. And all the employees in the store continued to walk around and past the device without any concern that the display unit of their store’s new flagship device was totally borked. Also, process.com.bravo.library?! HA.
