This Week in Startups, Episode 1: Jason Calacanis speaks with Brian Alvey about Crowd Fusion

In case you missed it, This Week in Startups, Episode 1 aired live the other day. It’s hosted by my friend and old boss at Mahalo, Jason Calacanis, and Jason’s first guest was Brian Alvey, who happens to be my current boss at Crowd Fusion, the platform and company behind Obsessable and Super Eco. Also, they were both dually my former bosses at Weblogs, Inc., which they co-founded.

My name comes up a few times in the hour-and-a-half-ish long video below, but don’t let that deter you from watching it. It’s full of some great discussion about startups and startup life, and the full video is embedded below.

I joked on Twitter while it was on that I felt like I was watching an episode of My Two Mentors. Great stuff. Check it out:

Also, in the news segment, they mention Kickstarter, which I’ve been using. I have a few invites left to the service, so if you want an invite let me know.
