What do you think of Mahalo’s How To articles?

Our How To category over at Mahalo is becoming a great resource and I’d love to hear what other people think of it.
We have a wide range of topics covered. I would have loved access to our financial how to articles back when I was in college. Wondering how to get a car loan? What about how to consolidate student loans or how to get out of debt? I myself need to learn how to track stocks and how to buy stocks. My stock market experience is limited to 401Ks and small bits of stock I’ve received from former employers.

I like the howtos, but I think that makes mahalo less of a human powered search engine and more like an about.com style site. Not a bad thing, just a shift of mission, in my eyes at least. I wouldn’t mind seeing Mahalo become a “how-to” resource, but I think that the google style front-page could give way to a more typical “front door” approach and you could more effectively promote your how-tos, Mahalo Daily, etc etc.
Just my two cents.
