Given the right editors building these result pages, I could see easily academics and libraries getting behind this project. The lack of consistent and trusted peer review is what keeps a lot of us who teach and do academic research wary of resources like Wikipedia. Google Scholar is already well underway, but has limitations inherent to Planet Google. A strand of Mahalo that is dedicated to academia and peer review could be very useful and fill an important need in education.
