i was pretty stoked about this thing when i first heard about it…then i found out the max output res is 800×600…lame!
i have an eyeTV 500 and I record a lot of HDTV. i archive a lot of it in h.264, and it would be great to keep it in HD and speed up the process with this device…but oh well…
i will probably still pick one up…but i am not as excited about it as i was.

This is exactly the kind of work that should be offloaded onto an FPGA sitting on the front side bus http://www.robotskirts.com/?p=631
