Recently, Sonja (the red one) has been unhappy, and screeching quite a bit as a result. Kristin and I didn’t know what was the matter. We tried showing her more attention. Less attention. Everything we could figure out, but she still kept having these freak out sessions where she would just scream and scream.
Yesterday, on a whim, I changed the direction their cage faces in the kitchen and suddenly they are both quiet and content:
