Google Reader
So last time I used Google Reader was back in the early beta days (as opposed to the now late beta days; come on, Google, grow a pair and actually release something!), but for some reason I decided to give it a whirl again.
So now, I’ve gone from Bloglines to Newsgator to Google Reader. I’m liking it. I’m surprised by that, but I’m liking it.
I guess it’s what I get for following Scoble on Twitter.
ps—Since this post is somewhat in praise of Google, I think I should grouse just a little bit by pointing out that their shoddy excuse for support still hasn’t even managed to comprehend the problem that I sent to them oh so long ago.

Huh. You know, the reason I’ve been using Livejournal for so long (besides the fact that 80% of my friends or more are there) is that with RSS feeds I can get LJ to do at least some of the functionality of Google Reader. In fact, that’s a large part of the reason I never bothered to get a more traditional blog - I liked the ability to go to one place and see all my friends, plus a number of the other sites I’d otherwise be roaming around to look at.
Maybe I’ll give Google Reader a try. The worst that can happen is that it turns out to be a secret alien conspiracy to take over the world via its computers, and we all wind up being featured in a book called “To Serve Man”…
