My pal Tom Drapeau went on some much needed vacation recently and was sending these great emails from Italy summarizing each day’s events. I told him he should be making it as a blog, b/c it was great stuff. Looks like he decided to go with my recommendation.
I love this type of very personal view of something like Italy. It’s something that used to be very prevalent online, but with the rise of professional blogging and SEO scumbagging of the blogosphere space, it’s difficult to find these types of blogs anymore.
This is the same reason I love my brother’s blog. It’s trip-specific blogging by someone who normally doesn’t blog so it’s dripping with authenticity. Casual blogging. We need more casual blogging.
