My Writing WIRED!: Got my kill-fee check w00t!

So remember how I wrote that PSP how-to for Wired that got edited nearly to oblivion and appeared sans byline. Well, I finally received my kill-fee check for that piece. w00t!

Behold, the riveting world of freelance writing in effect. You write something, it gets cut, and you get paid a nominal fee 6 months later. Awesome.

I seem to remember pre-spending this money on something, but since I’ve already forgotten what that was, I am tempted to go buy myself a bunch of PS3 games or maybe even a Wii, if I can find one.
