PS3 or Wii?

Ever since E3, I’ve been saying that I want a Wii. Well, both Christmas and my birthday have come and gone without a Wii. Kristin says she’ll buy me one for my birthday as soon as we can find one, but today, she added that she’d even go as far as to get me a PS3, since we’re seeing those in stores.

So what does everyone think? Should I hold out for the Wii or go to the store tomorrow and buy an HD-capable, Blue Ray PS3 to plug into my nice flat panel HDTV?

Get the Wii. We pre-ordered and received ours back in November and it is the total shizznit. If you’re looking to throw down $700 on a gaming rig for your flat panel, buy an XBox 360 tomorrow and get in line for a Wii. I’ll be more than happy to co-op with you on Gears of War, too. ;)

I’ve always thought of you as a Wiiner. You got rid of your Playstation games.

I really love my Wii, I play it quite regularly.. It is definately fun to play with more than one people (Super Monkey ball mini games FTW).

Good luck.

I’d say go for the Wii and get a Toshiba HD-A2. Together you’ll have both of the best toys and spend less. At least that what I’ll have done (as soon as I can find a Wii)
