hope you find some good one’s, the crap you have been putting out, slamming our country and our president, is getting real old.

the slant is definately leftist. too bad, i hate internet explorer, but have been using it more often to get away from your ” headlines”

ron, you mentioned internet explorer when really there is no browser issue here. Netscape as a company has no browser to distribute or web server software to sell any more.

actually LV you are half right. You can have any site as your home page BUT netscape still offers a browser, a decent one at that.

although the ns site is meant to be based on what the community votes up to the top, that is never really how its done. the assignment of pictures on a story is totally up to the anchors and navigators who often get a photo upon submission and a photo always guarantees more votes. next, there is an unwritten code that guarantees that anchor and navigation stories get to the home page faster..they and a few other plants vote for each other ALSO upon or nearly after submission. sometimes, they let a story die to seem like this is not the case, but watch closely! next, it’s mostly the anchor and navigator stories that gets pinned and highlighted. all this insures the leftist slant that ron speaks of for sure. pro-bush, pro-america, pro-jewish, pro-christian, pro-morality, and anything that even slightly tilts to the right is rarely if ever featured. then, stories that are contributed by anchors or navigators long AFTER a mere contributor submits the same story are given pictures and pinned first. there is no incentive to get your story in b/c the first is NEVER recognized when an anchor or navigator offer the same or similiar story. you are either bypassed or your story is even removed. understandable because they realize that sooner or later the high ups are gonna ask why pay for the milk when you can get BETTER for free — they’re fighting for their jobs first and foremost. then they ask why intelligent people leave the conversation. intelligent people stop talking when it’s clear that any and all opposing views are silenced and mocked. sure, there’s the comments section where anyone can say anything. but thats just not the same as the anchor and navigator homepage stories that are “voted up” using some sort of electoral college system that the rest of us are not privy to. and don’t assume i’m a right-winger either please.

the nation needs the left wing articles that you have been featuring to counter act the right wing slant of the corporate media. WE DO NOT NEED ARTICLES ABOUT CINDY HORSEFACE !!! Extremist right wing propoganda smearing brave people and leaders of countrys that oppose the actions of the criminals we have running this country into the ground are not needed. Let the people who like that shit get it from Fox news.

All stories which make it to the homepage get pictures (unless they are spam; then we kill the post).

We do not have a liberal agenda, and I am hoping that these two additions to our team will help fill out our topic areas and bring more balance to the site, not just in Politics.

Politics and News are only 2 of our 30 Channels. I’d like to see other stories appearing on the homepage, but we’ve not been forcing it. Right now the site is run by the people. Of course, it doesn’t help those who wish the site were more conservative / liberal that every time someone posts a liberal / conservative story, the comments soar with things like “You stupid liberal” or “You stupid conservative.” All those comments play into the algorithm on the site and help make the story rise in the ranks.

Hey CK, Just stopped by Netscape’s homepage. There were quite a few stories that didn’t have pictures next to them. You said…All stories which make it to the homepage get pictures (unless they are spam; then we kill the post). Well I checked the stories and they are all active. What’s happening here?
Also some of your beloved Navigators are not submitting there quota’s. I have to say this…I was once a Netscape Junkie. Yes, I use to spend all my free time blogging. What for though? Due to your favoritism toward Ousama and Mssaleem just to name a few, not to mention, the overall inequity of your process, have made us realize it’s just not worth it. Go ahead and have your own little world of paid friends because you certainly can’t keep the ones that aren’t paid! Perhaps, all of your paid posters can take a lesson in hospitality rather than gloating in their exhaulted status. They should be concerned about everyone’s success and not just keeping their own job. Which is what it appears to be. So I will see ya C.K. Thanks…You can take your foot out now and let someone else give it a shot.

Fixed my boo-boo, C.K. I’m only dyslexic with two letters or less. :)
