Get fit with fat C.K.: Day 1
Food: For breakfast, I had a bagel with butter and coffee. For lunch, a grilled ham and cheese sandwich. Mid-afternoon I got hungry and gave in to temptation briefly, eating 4 Doritos, before closing the bag and grabbing an apple. For dinner, I made a salad with a left over piece of chicken breast chopped up with lettuce, spinach, cucumber, carrots, green peppers, and oil and vinegar for dressing.
Exercise: I typed a lot. I walked to the train station and back. In other words, I didn’t really do anything, but I think I’m going to start taking Tai Chi classes.
Other goals: I ate slower today at breakfast and again at dinner and I can tell the results, as I didn’t get hungry as much afterwards. I made the mistake of not really taking a break from work for lunch and so I kind of rushed through that meal (thus the afternoon snack). I drank a lot of water today though and avoided thirst hunger.
All in all, it was an easy and good first day. Tomorrow, I will do better.

You may also want to check out http://www.yogatoday.com/. They deliver a new workout routine daily via iTunes. It may be what you’re looking for out of a Tai Chi class.

[...] So I’m pretty sure this was just karma getting back at me for telling C.K. that I was going to try and lose weight along with him, and then stopping at Burger King while I was out running around, but I just almost choked to death. It’s very hard to argue that Burger King’s Chicken Fries are real chicken when there’s a chicken bone stuck in your lung. I’ve included a picture of the attempted murderer. I think The King is out to get me. [...]
