Just passed New Canaan on the road in Connecticut with Kristin and her parents. We’re riding up to visit the Milios. Right before we left, I managed to get the Verizon EVDO card running in Ubuntu Linux (Christian Edition) that is running on my Dell laptop. I used these instructions, but modified the scripts based on some of the comments, removing the semicolons from the AT connect script and changing the timeout to 0. w00t!
