Last night, we went looking for houses…

...and saw several crapholes, one nice place which just wasn't right for us, and, finally, another house that would have been absolutely perfect for us--plenty of room, a nice deck in the back yard, a spacious bedroom, plenty of storage and a nice sunroom that would have worked nicely as a home office, even a nice front porch--but the neighborhood was no good. As we were driving away from the place, just a block away we saw some kids breaking into a car through the back window. So disappointing. It was like the perfect beautiful house. If only we could transport it to someplace we'd like to live.

Hey! Good luck with the search. I knew you guys were going to outgrow the co-op, especially since you are working more from home.

Funny how things work- Jenn T just closed on her new house, Deirdre & Michael are buying a gorgeous place in Bronxville (Post Office), and Pat just bought a place on the Jersey Shore. Everybody’s moving.

Ralph & I have even been looking but it doesn’t pay for us to move until I can leave FU. That way we get what we really want.

Hope married life is treating you well. My love to Kris.
We miss you!

I think your blog ate my comment …

Where are you looking? You should come to Northern NJ! I hear Butler’s a really nice town … not that I’m biased or anything. :-)

FU = Fordham University

Dossy, we’re looking in Southern Westchester. We like the area and cannot move too much further away from Long Island, as my wife teaches dance out in that neck of the woods.
