Life change…

This morning I gave notice at my current job at Fordham University. Starting Tuesday of next week, I will be working full time for Weblogs, Inc., where I will be working directly for Jason Calacanis on new products.

I’m thankful for my years spent at Fordham, where I have grown professionally and made friends with a variety of people working in a variety of disciplines, but writing, blogging, and tinkering with new technologies and pushing the envelope are what really inspire me. Weblogs, Inc. has been a crazy rollercoaster ride of excitement so far, and we’re just getting started.

I’m absolutely beyond overjoyed about this move. It’s a once in a lifetime opportunity that I plan to pour the majority of my energy into. Thanks to Jason, Brian, Judith, Barb, and the entire Weblogs, Inc. team for everything!

Stay tuned.

Update: Jason blogs this news here.

Darn and here I thought you were serious about catching death threats with me over at Hack-A-Day skunk works. Oh well, bigger and better things, congratulations.

Great news CK! How does it feel to have 5% of yourself owned by Google?!? Just kidding man, this is awesome!
