I hope this doesn’t happen to my D70…

According to Engadget, Nikon acknowledges DSLR defects:

Camera users on the internets have been complaining for a while about reliability problems with certain Nikon DSLRs â€” users have dubbed the problem the â€œBlinking Green Light of Death,â€ or BGLOD â€” and now Nikon has confirmed the problem.

They’ve agreed to fix it if it happens to your (or my) Nikon camera, but I really hope it doesn’t happen to my D70, as sending things in for repair / refurbishment is always a big hassle.
