Play PSP Media On Your TV VIA PS2
This is cool:
PSP-Spot -> Play PSP Media On Your TV VIA PS2!!!
Put Action Replay Evo or what ever that has the Media Player into the PS2. Start the Media Player. Hook up the USB to the PSP and into the PS2. Then start up the PSP go to USB MODE and BOOM! You got your Media files on the TV!
But I would guess this doesn’t work with UMD movies, which is what is really needed (some way to be able to play them on a larger screen than the PSP’s screen; key to UMD movie success, imho).

Let me see if I understand this. You use the PS2, which also can play dvd’s, to play bits of movies from PSP, which are videos that have been scrunched down into a PSP-compatible format from- dvds? I’m not quite understanding this one…..

Ok great
But..
Can You Play Psp The Games?. via PS2

Jawn,
No. Although since the PSP is supposed to work as a wireless controller for the PS3, I would hope that Sony would have the foresight to implement something like this in the PS3 (similar to the Gameboy DS attachment for the Game Cube).

All the guy is doing with his PS2 and Action Replay is to Use the PSP as a memory card. When the PSP’s USB is active it responds to a USB mass storage device or a thumb drive. When combined with the Action Replay EVO, the PS2 looks at the USB port which now sees the PSP as a “memory card” then seraches the memory for playable media. I have tried this even without and it does work “for me” don’t know about you guys. I have also tried playing pictures on a Yahoo DVD/Multi player which I bough from Walmart which has a memory card and USB inputs and they all worked fine, of course I use a USB cable long enough to connected both ends. This may or may not work for you but calling someone insane b’cos it doesn’t work for you, or say it broke your PSP, it really sucks to be you.
