This is amazing: http://www.pisher.com/steppinstone.mpg. That’s a cool kid.
Laurie, from tuaw pointed me to it.
I want that ukulele.
UPDATE: So, I just bought that ukulele. It’s my “congratulations for getting the gig at tuaw” gift to myself. Here’s a pic:

It’s also an Ovation electric ukulele; Back in my Richie Sambora days, I used to own a 12-string Ovation, which was a good guitar. I wonder how long it will take it to ship!!!

I love that song, I listened to a lot of punk in high school (and I still do) and the first time I heard that song I was when Minor Threat did a cover it wasn’t until I was a couple of years out of college that I heard the Monkees version and I couldn’t figure out for the life of my why they would cover a Minor Threat song. Anyway for as little as that kid is he seems just jaded enough to pull off that song.
PS your link to tauw is broken (I think you forgot the http://)
Thanks, dan. Fixed.
Sweet uke, CK. Your first lesson is to learn “Never Forget Where I’m From”…the song
Li’iBoy was playing outside the Peace Corps in “Shallow Hal”.
Sorry I haven’t been around with teaching, snow etc., but glad to hear you are getting ahead in your dissertation.
