Good Teaching news

Tomorrow, my class at Iona is being observed by the head of the English department. It’s a rather hodgepodge class, as I will be handing back rough drafts, talking about the next paper, and going over a grammar quiz with them, but I think it’ll be productive and a good class for being observed.

The good news is that I am slated to teach a pre-1800 survey lit class in the Fall, which will officially be my first entirely solo literature class. Then in the Spring, I can either teach the same class, a comp class, or the post 1800 correspondent to the class. I’m looking forward to the next academic year.

Now, I need to start marking these rough drafts…
