Rael just posted this over at raelity bytes:

Bloody useful application of podcasting by the producers of the new Battlestar Galactica: audio commentary on the very show you’re watching. Think of it as “podmented” (read: podcast-augmented) television.

I’ve said this before, but I think by and large that podcasts are faddish and the biggest waste of time invented by radio-nostalgic internet people. However, this is like getting the director’s commentary to a DVD on the show’s first broadcast. Super-cool and an advance in media / technology, rather than the throw-back to radio I find most podcasts to be.
