This is crazy:
A Londonder made a tsnuami-relief donation using lynx — a text-based browser used by the blind, Unix-users and others — on Sun’s Solaris operating system. The site-operator decided that this “unusual” event in the system log indicated a hack-attempt, and the police broke down the donor’s door and arrested him.
I think Rael is the only other person I know, besides myself, who occasionally uses Lynx on OS X. Consider yourself warned, Rael. ;-)

Hello? Chopped liver here, molding in the corner…
Actually, you’re probably right. I’ll always have a soft spot for lynx, and sometimes I launch it out of habit–and you can’t beat it for text downloads–but on the whole links has much better support for both tables and ssl. If you don’t already have it, check it out. I know fink has it, ports should, too.
This is the same discussion last time I mentioned I was using Lynx. You said “You should try links…”
